Mousam River STEM Academy is excited to offer three fun, hands-on, STEM enrichment programs that will run in the evening weekly for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year! The first is "STEM Sprouts" for kids 2.5-5 years old. The second is "STEM Squad" for kids ages 5-11. The third is "Young Knights Chess Club" for kids ages 5-11. We are happy to make minor modifications to our programs to accommodate students with minor learning disabilities.
On a case-by-case basis, we may be able to support students with a major learning disability if a parent/guardian or other qualified aid attends the class with the child.
Students attending any program at Mousam River STEM Academy must present proof of immunization against diphtheria, polio, pertussis, tetanus, measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox per Maine law (20A M.R.S.A. 6352-6358, Chapters 126 & 261). If a student is exempted from this requirement due to a medical reason, either the student’s physician must provide a written statement that the immunization is harmful to the student’s health, or the student must demonstrate immunity with laboratory evidence. Parents/guardians will be prompted to upload these required documents to their child's profile upon initial registration for one of our programs.
