Mousam River STEM Academy was founded in 2024 by a group of veteran engineers, mathematicians, and educators who wanted to share their passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The founders of Mousam River STEM Academy hand crafted a curriculum that leverages 3 key features:
- Discovery-based learning techniques of world-class children's science museums and discovery centers.
- Outdoor learning to stimulate student's minds and connect learning concepts to the physical world.
- Expeditions to discover & explore STEM in action (tours of local STEM companies and more!).

Our school is located on a beautiful 9-acre campus that boasts a private 21,000 square foot pond, stream, and direct access to Old Falls Pond & the Mousam River! Outdoor learning will be a part of every student's daily schedule.

We believe that parents & guardians should have full access to a transparent curriculum. This is why student exhibition nights are held approximately every 6 weeks, so parents & guardians of children enrolled at our school can come explore their child's work, receive assessments of their child's progress, talk with their child's teacher, and stay engaged with our exciting curriculum.

Our teachers are a vibrant combination of professionally trained educators, engineers, mathematicians, and scientists that are dedicated to creating an engaging learning environment that maximizes each child's learning potential. We have a very low student-teacher ratio to ensure individual attention.
