School Vacation & Summer Camps
Our goal
Our goal is to provide the most academically enriching (and fun!) school vacation camps in southern Maine! Each camp curriculum was hand-crafted by the owners of Mousam River STEM Academy who have Master's Degrees in mechanical engineering, so your child(ren) will be exposed to exciting topics not typically covered in other basic STEM camps. We can't wait to have some science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fun during our upcoming school vacation camps!
October 14th - STEM Camp (October 14, 2024)
- Core camp hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
February Vacation STEM Camp (February 17 - 21, 2025)
- Core camp hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Afternoon camp extension (optional): 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
April Vacation STEM Camp (April 21 - 25, 2025)
- Core camp hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Afternoon camp extension (optional): 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
STEM Summer Camp (June 16 - August 15, 2025)
We offer an exciting 8 week summer camp for kids ages 5-11!
- Registration opens on January 1, 2025!
- Core camp hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Afternoon camp extension (optional): 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
- Note- There is no camp during the week of June 30 - July 4.
Tuition
- $368/week when you register for all 8 weeks (Automatic 25% discount when you sign up for all 8 weeks of summer camp).
- $415/week when you register for 3-7 weeks (Automatic 15% discount when you sign-up for 3-7 weeks of summer camp.)
- $490/week when you register for 1-2 weeks

Frequently Asked Questions
We do not have the specialized training or staff to support children with learning disabilities or behavioral challenges. However, we recognize that every child and situation is unique. If you feel that Mousam River STEM Academy could be a great fit for your family and that your child has the potential to thrive here, we encourage you to reach out. We are dedicated to treating each child and family as individuals and will carefully evaluate each situation on a case-by-case basis.
We offer flexible payment options for our summer camp to make registration easier for families. You can choose to pay the full camp fee at the time of registration or opt for a 50% deposit. If you select the deposit option, the remaining balance will be automatically charged on April 1st. This ensures that your spot is secured, and payment is conveniently split into two manageable installments.
Students attending any program at Mousam River STEM Academy must present proof of immunization against diphtheria, polio, pertussis, tetanus, measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox per Maine law (20A M.R.S.A. 6352-6358, Chapters 126 & 261). If a student is exempted from this requirement due to a medical reason, either the student’s physician must provide a written statement that the immunization is harmful to the student’s health, or the student must demonstrate immunity with laboratory evidence. Parents/guardians will be prompted to upload these required documents to their child's profile upon initial registration for one of our programs.
